Sooryavanshi: Will it Stream on OTT Platform? Where to get – Netflix or Amazon or Hotstar!

It’s been more than one and half years since the Akshay Kumar starrer film Sooryavanshi waiting for its release. The makers wanted to release it in the theatres on the big screen, however, with Covid things OTT turned out to be the favorite way to release movies coming time and again. Just when the film hit the screen today, many seemed to wait to catch the movie streaming on any OTT platform. Now, the big question is, where will the makers of the movie stream it apart from the usual big-screen release?

The question remains, is it Netflix, Amazon, or Hotstar, things are still not clear as none of the OTT platforms have showcased in their upcoming list. Perhaps the makers are yet to decide on which they are going to release their film on the OTT. However, the makers are eyeing more on the theatre release as they feel that with their cop drama they will revive the old good days when people used to catch the movie only in the theatres with few films released on the different OTT platforms. Like the previous releases that adopted dual-option Theatres Plus OTT platforms, many seem to wonder if the makers would tread this path. However, it does appear so far for this film.

What is Sooryavanshi all about?

It’s a cop drama film from Rohit Shetty who gave similar theme films like Singham and Simmba with actors like Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh respectively. And with Sooryavanshi, he brought Akshay Kumar for the first time in his Cop drama series as Mumbai ACP hunting the guy who is planning to malign and damage Mumbai city. So, Akki as ATS Chief is going to do this is interesting to catch. Also, it is exciting to see how the other two cops – Ajay Devgn as Singham and Ranveer Singh as SImmba are also seen together in this crusade against terrorism in the city.

So, where to catch this film is up to you, however, the film has garnered good buzz around with overwhelming response to its advance booking. However, the multiplex chain has some issues as they are yet to release it on their screens including Inox and PVR. So, it is likely to see the makers taking resort in any OTT platform sooner or later. Let’s wait and watch, which OTT platform grabs the film, but as of now, we have only one place to catch – the theatres.
